Hot Honey Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raw whole almonds
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/3 cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds (roasted and salted)
  • 1/3 cup shaved coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup Red Clay Hot Honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
    • a pinch of Maldon sea salt for finishing touch!

This might be the best and easiest breakfast or snack ever. Seriously yummy with the perfect nutty-ness, crunch, and sweet heat with our Hot Honey. We're going nuts for this one.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Place 1/2 cup of oats and 1/2 cup of raw almonds in a food processor to roughly chop.
  3. Add all dry ingredients including spices in a bowl and mix until spices are well combined.
  4. Add honey and melted oil to dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Pat down granola mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-25 mins until starts to brown, turning the pan mid-way through for even cooking. Watch carefully!
  7. Sprinkle with a pinch of Maldon sea salt as a finishing touch! For a little extra heat, use Red Clay's Hot Hot Honey instead!
