This southern special shared with us by our friends from Butter Radish delivers a refreshing, yet bold flavor of sweet and spicy to your mouth. It may even become your designated margarita for get-togethers or any occasion you want to make “southernly special” as the summertime sizzles out. This recipe is the literal definition of Red Clay’s motto, a little south for your mouth.
1 cup of tequila
1/4 cup of Red Clay’s Hot Honey
1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon of Red Clay’s Habanero Hot Sauce
1 ripe peach sliced and peeled
Muddle half of a peach in a large pitcher. Add lime juice, hot honey, tequila, and habanero hot sauce. Stir well and serve over ice!
These margs are so good, your pitcher is sure to quickly empty!
